When you stop breastfeeding do you gain a lot of weight?

I have been BF for7 months now, and I don't plan on stopping soon, but once I do stop, will I gain lots of weight like if someone were to stop smoking?

I found that when I stopped breastfeeding I continued to eat like I was still breastfeeding and so started to gain the weight back. As soon as I cut back those extra calories, I levelled out.

Just eat healthy and exercise (walking and chasing your toddler around count as exercise!!) and you'll be fine.
